When this eager and gorgeous young bride asked if I would photograph her wedding, I was more than nervous and insanely excited! Being my very first wedding to photograph it was very intimidating. I instantly hit the books, internet and for weeks picked friends' brains who have shot weddings. As the day grew closer the more nervous I became. Finally with my cameras and gear strapped all over my body I reached the bride's home. Palms sweaty, heart racing, I met her at the door, shaky and frantic she greeted us in such a nice manor. (Now that I have shot over 20 weddings I know that the bride is usually way more nervous than any photographer!)
As soon as I started snapping pictures of the beautiful rings, the elegant dress and the gorgeous bride I knew I found my true calling! The ceremony was nothing short of absolutely stunning and full of so much love. A small country wedding that took place at a friend's farm and beautifully decorated vintage barn. The weather was perfect and all the quests were beaming with excitement for this young couple, so in love.
After the wedding was over and everyone had danced their little hearts out, it was time to go home. I couldn't hardly wait to get to my computer and start editing! From that day on I will be forever grateful that Lyndsey and Tanner allowed me to photograph their wedding day as my first, which lead me to many more wedding clients and much more wonderful experiences shooting weddings!
